Copyright & Takedown Policy

Our approach

  • Osler uses only material we are allowed to use: government publications (such as the NMC CBME curriculum), openly licensed works (for example CC BY), and original content written by our reviewers.
  • We don't copy or display text from copyrighted textbooks. We may refer you to a chapter, for example "see Robbins, chapter 4".
  • University question papers are analysed to show which topics come up often. They are shown word for word only after a licence check.
  • We never store or show "recall" questions from NEET PG, INI-CET or FMGE.

Reporting content

If you believe content on Osler infringes your copyright, email us (see Contact) with:
  • your name and how to reach you;
  • the work you own, and where it appears on Osler (a link or description);
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised;
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you own the rights or are authorised to act for the owner.
We'll acknowledge your notice and act on it within 36 hours, in line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021. We disable the content while we review it.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, email us with the details and your reasons. We'll review it and may restore the content.
